There's no incentive to move around of anything. Flanking typically isn't an option and you kind of just hang out in one cover spot shooting everybody. Only issue is the enemies are always in front of you. Gun fights are pretty fun and the AI is decent.
HALF LIFE 1 LEVELS UPGRADE
Really well polished) and the upgrade mechanics are nice. Gameplay: 3/10 Guns are really satisfying (reloading and holding your gun "feels" nice. You have no choice in what Alyx says, and she basically says the opposite of what I want her to say every single time. It's supposed to be funny, but I'm not really amused by the "look this guy is so stupid!" kind of humor. The story also makes the person who invented the gravity gloves seem stupid. She is condescending to the one creature that tries to help her, and she constantly makes snide remarks to the person guiding her through her journey. Very slight spoiler: your objective is to save the world.

If this was a movie it would've been a complete joke. Story: 0/10 Most cliché story of any game I've ever played. Where the hell is the Freeman? Where is Half Life 3? These 100 score critic reviews are incredibly suspicious and suggests Valve is paying people off to dampen any legit criticism. This is a tech demo meant to sell VR hardware.

AI is dumb as rocks with enemies not even noticing your presence as you very loudly grab bullets right behind them. With that aside, lets get down to it: Looks pretty, but gameplay consists of fighting the motion controls while moving to the next scripted cutscene. Valve is catering to the 0.1% of Steam users who have VR while forsaking the rest of their customer base (and throwing longtime HL fans under the bus).
